Context

I will try to explain why I created this ideea (this website, codebase.site).

Solution

Ask ourselves a simple question: If we want to sort a list in the Foo programming language, how do we do it?

Where do we look for a solution?
How do we know that solution is good?
Is it the best one there can be?
How do we know if is an up to date solution?
How do we know if conforms with the community style guide?

Well, I think there should be a place out there where developers get one question and contribute together to give the best solution there can be.

That place can be https://www.programming-idioms.org/ or SO or https://stackoverflow.org/ or even this site. Someone should declare himself the ONE, the reference point, the standard in the industry and implement this idea. At this point I have not seen an app that fulfills all my requests so until the one shows up I will make the bold crazy move and declare:

"This web site: http://codebase.site/ is the reference point and the standard in the programming industry until a better one ((makes the statement) AND (takes the place))".
